Diamond bits threaded system
The threaded system is developed to reach large drilling lengths, without the need to extract the core.
The “threaded system WITHOUT CORE CATCHER” is composed of a diamond threaded bit, pipes with an equal diameter to the bit, threaded so that they can add pipes until reaching the desired depth, and a threaded head with 1 1/4″ UNC connection.
The “threaded system WITH CORE CATCHER”, is the same as the previous one but with the incorporation of a spring corelifter, which helps to recover the core of specific materials.
The system consists of a first lead section (bit, pipe and head); carry out the first drilling and without extracting the assembly, unscrew the head, screw a new pipe to the pipe already in the hole, then screw the head onto the second pipe, and continue drilling.
With this system working time is saved when it is necessary to drill large lengths.
Depending on the diameter lengths, over 5m can be reached.
